Kilakarai Arusiyyah Thaika is well - known as the Mother of Madarsha's for service rendering to the society,similarly our Chittariyya Arabic College has been serving for the past twenty years with the title of Moulavi five years with perfection and excellence.It was started by Moulana Moulavi Alhaj I.Syed Mohamed Buhari Alim Fazil Manbaye, son of Muhammad Ibrahim - Hajjah Sawdha Ammal of Chittarkottai in AD 2001. He served as the Principal of Arabic Colleges of Thondi, Ammapattinam and Panaikulam and gave many dawah pearls to the society. His service was extended to overseas like Malaysia too. On 1985, during his visit to establish Thondi Azhariyya Arabic College he met merchants to seek help. He was questioned on Who is he? Where he is from? They insisted him to start an Arabic College at his hometown, a mandatory. That moment urged him to set a goal later. Allah has accepted his intension it seems! Chittarkottai is now endowed with Chittariyya Arabic College.Chittarkottai is a place, that nourishes the hunger of knowledge and spirituality. It is a place blessed with the missionary Nainar Muhammad Labbai Aalim, Moulana Moulavi Ahamed Ibrahim Fazil Baqavi (Periya Alim), Moulana Moulavi Muhammad Labbai Aalim Baqavi (Chinna Aalim), Moulana Moulavi Abdul Hayyi Aalim Baqavi, Moulana Moulavi Alhaj Muhammad Salahudeen Aalim Fazil Manbayee, known for their knowledge and spirituality were laid to rest.
